Let’s introduce sleep, as a little bit of a mystery, however we all know, that we require sufficient or adequate sleep to recharge our batteries. Later, we shall elaborate upon the Mysteries of sleep and also how various indigenous folks around the world interpret sleep.
Here in the western world, we view sleep as coming in the way, of work, play and rest and we question is there a relationship between sleep, dreams and work, or are they all very much separate? The recently Sci-Fi film "Avatar" elaborated on celloid by director James Cameron on how person when in sleep mode, and dreams travel "to save the planet and the tree of life knoiwledge". They themselves enter into another world or dimension, not being a new concept, it's been around for long long time, in fact thousand of years, stories now brought onto celluloid, shed new light and the way we now look at our sleep. In reality some American Indians and the aborigines believe that sleep's the real world, and the other world we live in, is the nightmare actually - "relate to this, may be you can."
We sleep for a third, work for a third and play for a third of our lives, that’s the proportion we should try to attain and keep in balance, anything more or less is going to cause problems. Our energy centres (called Chakras) are deeply intertwined and linked, complexly to our whole body system - i.e. the emotional, physical and mental or the ethereal state too. If ones chakras are not in balance, it's difficult to get good sleep and perform well in every day life activities, e.g. like your heart centre or your solar plexus. Adequate sleep, should not be considered as a luxury, but a requirement. Although a sleep deficit is always going to be a problem and catch up with us - just like an overdrawn bank account.

So when you've had, a long lie in - Enjoy it - catch up your sleep deficit- Meditate - clear out

Within our work and place, we need to understand how to balance sleep and work, as part of our daily stressful lives. Especially in this digital age we live in, we may also always need to succumb to a frenzied world, of threats and pressures we live in, in due course omitting to obtain the correct proportions of sleep !
Let's get started right away and deal on how to achieve this natural rhythm and cycle. Remember to get a good night sleep - you have to be disiplined and serious about your routine and sleep hygiene.
